Computers are integrated into nearly every aspect of our daily lives — from our smartphones to our televisions, and even in our refrigerators! Everyone knows what a computer is, but not everyone knows how they work and how we build them. The “Basic Digital Logic” presentation was created to break down the concepts of binary language, computer logic, and basic computer memory to a level that K-12 students (or anyone else really) could understand! As confusing as these concepts may seem, they are actually quite simple and hopefully this presentation will open the eyes of many students to the world of electrical and computer engineering.

Younger students already know the verbiage of 'not', 'and', 'or', etc. Teaching them the electrical mapping to these words early on is a great tool to introduce them to digital logic!
